My Birthday at Disneyland !!!

Patrick took me to Disneyland again this year for my Birthday!
Just the two of us went, and we had a fabulous time. We stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel which was wonderful. We got the 3 day park hopper pass so we went on all the rides we wanted over and over. We saw all the parades and different shows they had going on too. We ate dinner one night at the Blue Bayou which is in The Pirates of the Caribbean ride and it was AWESOME!! We also at dinner one night at Goofy's Kitchen which is in the Disneyland Hotel. That was really good and fun eating with all the different characters like Goofy, Pluto, Mulan, Minnie, Mickey, etc.
Since we didn't have the kids with us, we went on all the big rides as many times as we wanted and didn't go near the little kids rides. It was fun going in the shops and shopping in Downtown Disney District and just being together.
It was one of the best birthdays ever!!!

Flagstaff on the 4th of July

We decided to get out of the heat and go to Flagstaff for the 4th of July with the Riedlinger side of the family. We all took our trailers, rhinos, and quads and had a nice 4 day vacation. It rained for at least 2 or 3 hours each day which cooled it off and made the weather perfect!! The kids had a great time playing in the rain and riding their quads. We watched fireworks on top of one of the big mountains and had fun!!!

Field Trip to the Science Center

Wow it has been forever since I updated this!
It's been a busy end of the school year and summer.
I can't believe it's already the end of July and school starts in a week and a half!!! Yeah we are excited around our house if you couldn't tell.
Well let me recap the last few months...Tyler went with his 1st Grade class to the
Arizona Science Center and I was one of the chaperones along with some of my favorite moms Denise and Natalie.
That is a great place to take the kids.

Tyler and the scorpion!!!

I'm sorry it has been so long since I posted anything. I will post more soon I promise. I do have a funny story real quick. Tyler is in 1st grade and he is doing a report on desert animals and he picked scorpions. He loves to go out at night and go scorpion hunting with Patrick and seeing how many he can find. Well he got this great idea to capture one and bring it to school to go along with the report. Well last night they went out and got one and put it in a tupperware container. They brought it inside and it wasn't dead yet, so i told him to put it back outside and then in the morning hopefully it would be dead and he could take it to school. Well sure enough in the morning it was dead, so i duct taped the lid on so he wouldn't be able to take it off at school and he took it. I had to help out in his class today, so when I got there, all the kids kept asking me about it. Come to find out he was so excited to show everyone it had been sitting on his desk all morning long and everyone kept looking at it. Needless to say I took it home with me when I left because it was causing too much drama. The ideas kids come up with!!!

Rockin' Out!

We love Rockband at our house, so when Rockband 2 came out we knew we had to get it. My sister, brother-in-law and nieces came down to visit for a few days after Christmas and they really wanted to play it. We even got grandma to play the drums!
Tyler has now moved onto the guitar and has gotten really good at that. Patrick needs to watch out!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Going to the Sanddunes for Thanksgiving is a Riedlinger Family tradition. We take our rhinos and trailers and spend a few days having fun. We just bought Tyler a new Quad so he was very excited to ride it. Matt has 4 of them so he was nice enough to let Riley ride one. Thanks Matt! We had all 4 little boys ranging from age 2-6 riding around camp pretty much all day. We even took Tyler and Tuff out in the big dunes with their quads. They did great. They definetly take after their dads. No fear of anything! We also went to the sand drags and watched all the fast sandrails and bikes racing. That was awesome. We even had a great Thanksgiving dinner, thanks Mom and Dad Riedlinger! We can't wait to go next year!!!

Patrick's Party

This year was Patrick's 30th Birthday!!! We decided to have a big party for him and our friend Jimmy who also turned 30. We had yummy food from our favorite caterer, a margarita machine(non-alcoholic), and really good cake. Patrick set up the blackjack table, and we ate, danced and had a great time. It was a great party! The birthday boys even did the dishes at the end of the night!

Happy Halloween

The day before Halloween was the ward Trunk or Treat. Tyler was a ninja, Riley was Spiderman, Patrick and I were Mr. and Mrs. Gangster. Patrick was the DJ for the party. Everyone danced and had a great time. The kids got way too much candy!.

More Fair Pictures

The State Fair

I love it when the state fair comes. We try and go every year so we can ride the rides and eat all the gooooooooood food they have! This year my sister-in-law Micah and her husband Spencer went with us, we also took my nephew Tuff with us. It was unlimited ride day with a wristband, so we bought the kids each one and Micah and I got one so we could ride with them. Patrick and Spencer didn't really care about the rides, they just wanted to play the games. The big slide was the boys favorite, they went down it over and over. Tyler really wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel (which I hate) so Micah and I braved it out and went with him. We saw the grizzly bear show, and then Micah and I went on this crazy ride that goes around and upside down. We ofcourse had to try a fried Twinkie, mmmmmmmmm goood!!! We had a good time and can't wait to go next year!

I love gettting a pedicure!

My friend told me about this awesome place to get a pedicure. They have all these cool designs to choose from that they will do on your toes. Last month we went and got our toes done and it was great. Well it was time to get them done again, so I went back and got a Halloween design. I love this place! Now I'm addicted.
Thanks Natalie! Sorry my toes are short and fat(not very cute)but somehow nail polish makes them look a lot better.

Tyler plays flag football

Tyler is playing NFL flag football this fall. He has played t-ball and basketball, but I think he likes this the best. He really wanted to play tackle football, but Patrick was worried he might get hurt at such a young age so we comprimised with flag football. He is having so much fun. His coach is awesome and has taught them so much. He is on the offense and plays center. Go 49ers!!!

Send Out Cards "Send Out To Give"

Patrick and I have joined this new business called Send Out Cards. You go online and personalize a greeting card, put in the recipients name and address and click send on your computer and the company prints, stamps and mails out your card. You can even include gifts like cookies, brownies, gift cards, books, etc. No more going to the store to buy a card and then having to go to the post office to mail it. Last month we went to Salt Lake City, Utah for the convention. It was awesome listening to all the speakers, and we toured the factory where they make the cards and print them out. That was a very cool thing to see. Thurl Bailey was one of the guest speakers and sang some of his songs. We had to buy his CD and I got my picture taken with him. He is very tall! Yes I know everyone hates multi level marketing. Trust me I feel the same way, but this is actually something you would use. If you go to our website you can sign up for a free account and send a few cards. Give it a try. It's alot of fun to see the reactions of people when you send them a card for no specific reason. It just makes people feel good!
We ofcourse had to go to Temple Square and then eat at the Jospeh Smith Building at The Roof Restaurant. Wow that was really GOOD!
