Going to the Sanddunes for Thanksgiving is a Riedlinger Family tradition. We take our rhinos and trailers and spend a few days having fun. We just bought Tyler a new Quad so he was very excited to ride it. Matt has 4 of them so he was nice enough to let Riley ride one. Thanks Matt! We had all 4 little boys ranging from age 2-6 riding around camp pretty much all day. We even took Tyler and Tuff out in the big dunes with their quads. They did great. They definetly take after their dads. No fear of anything! We also went to the sand drags and watched all the fast sandrails and bikes racing. That was awesome. We even had a great Thanksgiving dinner, thanks Mom and Dad Riedlinger! We can't wait to go next year!!!

Patrick's Party
This year was Patrick's 30th Birthday!!! We decided to have a big party for him and our friend Jimmy who also turned 30. We had yummy food from our favorite caterer, a margarita machine(non-alcoholic), and really good cake. Patrick set up the blackjack table, and we ate, danced and had a great time. It was a great party! The birthday boys even did the dishes at the end of the night!

The State Fair
I love it when the state fair comes. We try and go every year so we can ride the rides and eat all the gooooooooood food they have! This year my sister-in-law Micah and her husband Spencer went with us, we also took my nephew Tuff with us. It was unlimited ride day with a wristband, so we bought the kids each one and Micah and I got one so we could ride with them. Patrick and Spencer didn't really care about the rides, they just wanted to play the games. The big slide was the boys favorite, they went down it over and over. Tyler really wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel (which I hate) so Micah and I braved it out and went with him. We saw the grizzly bear show, and then Micah and I went on this crazy ride that goes around and upside down. We ofcourse had to try a fried Twinkie, mmmmmmmmm goood!!! We had a good time and can't wait to go next year!

I love gettting a pedicure!
My friend told me about this awesome place to get a pedicure. They have all these cool designs to choose from that they will do on your toes. Last month we went and got our toes done and it was great. Well it was time to get them done again, so I went back and got a Halloween design. I love this place! Now I'm addicted.
Thanks Natalie! Sorry my toes are short and fat(not very cute)but somehow nail polish makes them look a lot better.

Tyler plays flag football
Tyler is playing NFL flag football this fall. He has played t-ball and basketball, but I think he likes this the best. He really wanted to play tackle football, but Patrick was worried he might get hurt at such a young age so we comprimised with flag football. He is having so much fun. His coach is awesome and has taught them so much. He is on the offense and plays center. Go 49ers!!!

Send Out Cards "Send Out To Give"
Patrick and I have joined this new business called Send Out Cards. You go online and personalize a greeting card, put in the recipients name and address and click send on your computer and the company prints, stamps and mails out your card. You can even include gifts like cookies, brownies, gift cards, books, etc. No more going to the store to buy a card and then having to go to the post office to mail it. Last month we went to Salt Lake City, Utah for the convention. It was awesome listening to all the speakers, and we toured the factory where they make the cards and print them out. That was a very cool thing to see. Thurl Bailey was one of the guest speakers and sang some of his songs. We had to buy his CD and I got my picture taken with him. He is very tall! Yes I know everyone hates multi level marketing. Trust me I feel the same way, but this is actually something you would use. If you go to our website you can sign up for a free account and send a few cards. Give it a try. It's alot of fun to see the reactions of people when you send them a card for no specific reason. It just makes people feel good!
We ofcourse had to go to Temple Square and then eat at the Jospeh Smith Building at The Roof Restaurant. Wow that was really GOOD!

Chore Board
So one of my good friends is the enrichment leader in our ward. They are having a super Saturday next month and they have a bunch of cute crafts you can make. Well you know me, I always love to make cute things for my house so I told her I wanted to make this chore board. I thought what a great idea, it will look cute in my house and also get my kids to do their chores. Apparently she didn't have many people willing to help teach the classes so guess who got asked to teach it, yep that's right me! Last week we made ours since we won't have time that day, and they turned out sooooo cute! It is a very cute idea.

Wii, Playstation 3, Game Cube, DS.......
We have way too many video game systems at our house. We have a PS3 which is mostly Patrick's for his games, but we also use it for Rockband and the car racing games I like. The boys have a gamecube, Tyler saved up his money and bought himself a Nintendo DS, and then we got a Wii for Christmas. You would think with all those systems we would never be able to play them all, but somehow we manage to find enough time to use them. I have really been wanting to get the Wii Fit, but Patrick didn't think we would use it or like it. That was until he saw someone hula hooping and snow boarding on it and he thought it looked pretty cool. So yesterday we went and bought one. We were in luck that the game store just got a shipment in that morning and we were able to get one. I guess they're sold out within minutes. Needless to say he has been playing on it since we got it. Hopefully I'll get to try it sometime soon. He does have to go to work eventually!

Rockband
Rockband is one of the favorite video games at our house. We got it for PS3 when it first came out and still love playing it. We love getting togethr with our friends and having Rockband parties and jamming out!! Tyler and Riley love playing the drums, and they are both pretty good. Especially Tyler, he is better at the drums than I am. Who know we might have a future drummer in the house! Here's a video of Tyler playing.

School Started
It's that time of year again when the kids go back to school! Yeah for the parents, but I'm not sure how excited the kids are. This year Tyler is in 1st Grade and Riley is in preschool. Tyler goes all day ofcourse and Riley goes 3 days a week. Patrick and I can't believe we will have 3 days a week all to ourselves. What will we do??? The boys were very excited and anxious for school to start. Tyler couldn't wait to see all his friends, and Riley was excited to be at Grandma's school and be with his cousin Tuff who was going there too. We were excited for them and also for ourselves!

Taking the Rhinos to the Cinders
This past week we went on a Riedlinger family vacation to Flagstaff. We all took our Rhinos and trailers and camped out for a few days. Tyler has outgrown his quad and we haven't got him a new one yet, so his cousins were nice enough to share theirs with him. We even let Riley get on one and ride it around, and he didn't want to get off. They have so much fun being with their cousins. The Arizona Cardinals were up there for football camp so one night we and saw them practicing. It was cool for the kids to see them up close. The last day we were there we even saw 2 great big Elk. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go again.

Girl's Camp
Being in the YW Presidency I get the priviledge of going to girls camp each year. This year was ward camp so my loving husband went with us this year. We went up to someone's cabin and went swimming, hiking and hung out and had a great time. Patrick brought his computer for one of our devotionals and even used it to teach the girls some line dances!

Tyler's Birthday
I can't believe Tyler is 6 years old. Time has gone by so fast. It just seems like yesterday he was a brand new baby. He has learned to ride his bike with no training wheels, outgrown his quad, saved up his money to buy a Nintendo DS, finished Kindergarten, learned to read and write, has become a great basketball player, and is learning to share with his brother. He has grown up so much and just keeps getting bigger. We took Tyler out for lunch the day before his birthday at Sweet Tomatoes with all the family. On his birthday Patrick had to leave for girl's camp so we celebrated with dad before he left. Tyler wanted to go to Amazing Jake's for his brithday dinner, so my parents and Riley and I took him there for dinner and games. Happy Birthday big boy!

Our Flagstaff Trip
Patrick's brother is working in Flagstaff during the week framing houses, so we decided to get out of the heat and go visit him for a few days. His wife and their 3kids went and Patrick's mom and dad. He lives in a huge condo up there so that's where we all stayed. 5 little boys ranging from age 5-4months. You can only imagine how noisy it was 24/7. We hiking out in the mountains behind the condo, we took the kids to the park, and we also went to some historical house by NAU. Grandma wanted to go on a tour through the house, but they said it was already full and we would have to wait an hour for the next tour. I think that was just an excuse because they say 5 little boys and we sure we would tear things up. So Patrick took us on a tour outside around the house and we learned all about the history. That was good enough for the boys. It's nice to get away from reality of work and everything else for a few days.
